NETCON releases new FirstPAGE Server with text to speech compatibility.

London, Ontario, May 21, 2005 - NETCON announced the release of FirstPAGE Server V8.9. This new release incorporates a text to speech capability allowing FirstPAGE to be interfaced with PA announcement systems and two-way radios. With this new capability one or more audio devices may be controlled by FirstPAGE Server.

With user installable voices the FirstPAGE audio capabilities can be tailored to your specific needs. NETCON can also provide a hardware interface to enable standard PC sound cards to be interfaced with most two-way radio systems. Using this interface audio messages received from FirstPAGE Server can be successfully broadcast on a radio channel, when that channel becomes available. One or more radio channels may be controlled using a single FirstPAGE Server.

With the addition of audio and text to speech capabilities, FirstPAGE is the most flexible messaging system on the market today.

Please contact our sales or support departments with any upgrade inquiries.
