NETCON releases new Marquee Manager protocol and Marquee Manager Server.

London, Ontario, December 20, 2004 - NETCON announced today, the simultaneous release of a new version of Marquee Manager Server and a specification for a new common marquee control protocol. With support for the NETCON Unit Protocol in Marquee Manager Server, there is now a standard protocol for interfacing with marquees.

With three major vendors of marquees already supporting the protocol, NETCON is positioned to bring continuity to the interface and functionality of marquees in the industrial environment. With extensibility built into the protocol design the NETCON Unit protocol will evolve as the marquee industry expands. To discuss implementing the NETCON Unit protocol in your company's marquee solutions please contact our sales team.

Those customers which maintain a Platinum Support contract may receive free upgrades. Customers on Extended Support may upgrade at a discounted rate. Please contact our sales or support departments with any upgrade inquiries.
