Automated Messaging is the process where an application decides when a message is to be sent, who to send a message to, and what message to send. Automated messaging is used by monitoring and dispatch systems to notify the outside world of events which have occurred within the application.

 

• FirstPAGE Heartbeat provides a static FirstPAGE transaction to be emitted at regular intervals. It is used with FirstPAGE Verifier to detect system failures.

• FirstPAGE Reminder for Outlook provides an automated interface for selectively forwarding Microsoft Outlook popup reminders to text messaging destinations.

• FirstPAGE Dispatcher for VisualPlant provides an automated interface for forwarding VisualPlant information to selected text messaging destinations.

• FirstPAGE Dispatcher for VisualPlant Administrator provides you with a flexible interface for extracting any VisualPlant collected data values and defining rules to trigger forwarding these values to a destination via FirstPAGE Server.

• FirstPAGE Gateway for SMTP allows you to selectively assign an email address to any FirstPAGE destination.

• FirstPAGE Gateway for OPC allows you to trigger messages based on OPC-hosted data elements.
